Rams Team Christmas for the Classroom

My students need basic classroom supplies: Pencils, Markers, Glue sticks, Scissors, Tissues, Hand sanitizer,and other basic needs.

My Students

At our school we "Fly Higher Than The Rest." That being said, I want quality materials for all of my students so that they can do their best work. Halfway though the year is when I have to give out the most supplies, because the supplies their parents bought at the beginning of the year are gone.

We have a wide range of students at our school.

Some students come from great homes and have what they need, while others are at our school on a waiver. These students are good at putting up appearances. The main way that I can tell these two groups apart is by their school supplies.

My Project

These supplies - pencils, markers, and glue sticks - will be available to all of my students on a daily basis to use as needed. Each table will have a basket that contains that group's supplies. At the end of each block, the "Table Leader" is in charge of collecting all supplies and organizing the basket. This greatly helps the student that does not have supplies to not only get their work done, but to also not be embarrassed by the fact that they don't have markers or a pencil.

Most people have no idea how big a difference it can make in a student's day if I just give them a pencil.

It is hard to believe that a stick of wood makes it possible for a student to create, learn, or give proof of their knowledge.
