This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As we incorporate school bucks into our classroom, we want to begin to teach students the value of financial literacy.
Students receive Rams Riches for positive classroom behavior.
Students will receive classroom bucks for unexpected positive behaviors, such as helping putting computers away or helping a classmate after completing their own word, as well as during special competitive events where bucks will be available as rewards as well.
These events will help students accumulate classroom bucks to use weekly in our classroom pantry. Each of the snacks requested will be leveled for different amounts of bucks for purchase by students. Students will need to make the difficult decision of whether or not to use their bucks for snacks, or stack their bucks for experiences, such as lunch period free time or movie opportunities.
We are requesting the colorful paper to create different denominations for classroom bucks usage.
