Help me give my students books that range from nonfiction guides to graphic novels and fiction chapter books.

Hooray! This project is fully funded
Our elementary school is a diverse school in an urban community that serves students from many backgrounds. Each child brings with him or her unique strengths and needs. They are inquisitive and enthusiastic, and come to school ready to learn every day!
My students absolutely LOVE to read!
There is a wide range of reading levels in my classroom, and an even wider variety of interests. From nonfiction books about history to graphic novels to scary stories, my students want and need exposure to a great number of different text types and structures.
I am requesting a number of books to add to our classroom library to help meet the needs of each of my young readers. Many of my students love nonfiction, so I am requesting some guides to favorite topics like volcanoes and soccer. In addition, I want to expose my students to a range of text types, so there are comic books and narrative nonfiction about favorite animals and interesting people in history as well.
For students who want to get lost in a book, I am also requesting some new and challenging chapter books that I know my third graders will love.
Ranging from realistic fiction, to dystopian literature, to pure fantasy, my goal is that each student will find a new favorite book to dive into and later share with their families and friends.
Thank you for your support of learning, literature, and public education!
