Raised Bed Garden Revamp Part 8

Help me give my students new raised beds for our garden to plant more vegetables!

My Project

We are going to redo our raised bed garden this year and have all new raised beds that are taller and more sturdy. The ones we previously got for the garden work well, but we have found that they dry out really fast and the weeds can still grow up through the bed from underneath. The raised beds in this project are very heavy-duty and are taller so they will be easier to plant in, have more room for roots to grow long and strong, and hopefully too tall for weeds to grow through the soil.

By getting these new beds put in, our garden will be prettier, last longer, and be color-coordinated because all the beds will be green or black.

Metal beds last forever versus wood ones and we hope this will be the last time we have to replace them for a long, long time. These beds will have all kinds of vegetables, flowers, and herbs and we will use what we grow to learn how to cook and eat! My students will learn all aspects of raised bed gardening from composting to vertical gardening to companion planting. It will be great!
