My Project
My third graders at YVA are mostly ENL students of various levels, that are eager to learn all about the world around them. They are young learners that work hard towards meeting learning goals. One way that our school supports ENL students is by providing access to several online programs. The other third grade teachers and myself share a computer cart and we create a schedule to ensure students are accessing the online materials. Many students brought in headphones from home to use during our computer periods. However, there were quite a few that did not and the noise from the computers was a distraction. Headphones and pouches would make a huge difference! It will make our computer period much more effective. Students also need dry erase pockets.
