This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are amazing and wonderful students. Rain or shine they come to class to learn. Last year we had many students arrive on campus soaking wet and just needed some dry socks to get through the day. Every single one was cold and miserable the whole day and ended up sick a week later.

This year I want to be able to provide protection from the rain for all my students by providing umbrellas, ponchos, socks, head beanies, and gloves to keep them warm this rainy season.

I want them to show up to school and be ready to learn, not soaked and cold from the rain. Many times they would show up and be cold all day then ill the following day. Help me prevent this from happening again by bein prepared for this upcoming cold season.
