Rainy Day Recess

My Project

My students are hard workers. When it comes to learning, they take their education seriously. The same can be said about their play! I want to be able to provide multiple choices for indoor recess for my students.

The weather in North Carolina can be unpredictable at times, and this presents a challenge in providing quality recess for my students.

This project would allow my students to choose from a variety of activities and board games to play during those days we have to stay indoors. The board games will allow students time to interact socially, help them become more independent in reading and following directions, and learn how to become a grateful winner and gracious loser. These are skills that are hard to fit in during the regular school day, but playing board games during indoor recess would provide the perfect opportunity!
