My Project

Every week, the first thing my students ask when they see me is, "Are we going to paint today?" Their favorite way to express themselves is always through painting. Whether it is watercolor paint, tempera paint, or acrylic paint, they love all of it!

As a school with around 500 students, we go through a lot of paint!

This is why I am asking for multiple colors in the half gallon size and washable finger paint bottles. It is hard to keep every color in stock throughout the year, and I would love to provide all of the bright and exciting colors they need to fulfill their visions on the canvas as I teach different lessons during art. My kindergarten students will finger paint, and learn how to use brushes, developing their fine motor skills. My first graders will practice painting specific subjects, second graders love adding a lot of personal flair to their paintings. Third and up really enjoy painting things that look realistic. My middle school students will be challenged to create value in their paintings, we will practice still lives and self portraits.
