My Project
I am moving back to teaching 1st grade after 12 years in other grade levels. I want to make sure my classroom is age appropriate and that my students have nice materials to work with throughout the year. Teaching upper grades has left most of my supplies tattered and broken. I want to create an organization system with labeled drawers for my new 1st graders. I want to provide them with the crayons and colored pencils they will need to express themselves. and I want to give them a way to keep those crayons nice for a long time to come.
First grade is a pivotal year in a student's education and having a great start is priceless.
