My Students

My twenty-four second graders are bright, eager to learn, joyful, and kind.

My students enjoy working collaboratively on projects, building, playing music, reading, researching, and learning through active games and participation.

They are diverse in interests and culturally rich.

Students in my class speak Mandarin, Cantonese, Telugu, Vietnamese, Tagalog, Hindi, and more. This richness of background is matched by families full of joy, strong morals, and a strong interest in a great education for their children.

If you were to peek in my classroom, you'd see a group of happy, engaged, cooperative, and fantastic students. In this class, we are friends.

My Project

Our current classroom carpet is stained, taped together and very old. A fresh new carpet would help us all get a fresh new start. The carpet is a place where students share ideas, create stories, play learning games, and learn so many things. It's our community spot and the heart of our classroom.

If you peeked into our room, you would see so many wonderful things happening there.

The math games would provide interaction and bring complex topics to life. Now that we are in person, students are thoroughly enjoying learning through collaboration and cooperation. These games would be a great addition to our math curriculum.

Finally, we love art supplies. The googly eyes and tissue paper will be used for projects throughout the year.
