Raider Reporting - Daily Video Podcast

My students need the Pinnacle Systems TV for Mac USB TV Tuner to increase our program's visibility and relevance.

This project is fully funded

I teach at an urban high school where my students operate the TV studio, producing a live broadcast of events, news, and special features each morning.

After reviving the TV studio last year, the students have become interested in expanding into internet media. Recently, the students received an outdated video converter donated by a teacher at our school. They have begun to podcast videos but are limited by the quality of the capture device.

A new converter will allow students to capture the live broadcast, which is available on closed-circuit TV during the school day. After editing the broadcast on a laptop, which we received through a state grant, it will be made available to the internet community.

Your donation to our project will help my students develop unique digital media. Their stories and news features will be posted to the internet for parents and other community members. The podcasts will be distributed through an RSS feed and offered through iTunes.
