Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project seeks snacks and small rewards to stock our "Friday Student Store." In our classroom, we use a "Bucks" system—a token economy where students earn currency for reading books and performing "good deeds," such as helping a peer or managing a difficult emotion. For students navigating behavioral challenges, having a tangible, exciting reward at the end of the week is a powerful motivator that reinforces the connection between their positive choices and real-world outcomes.

These resources will turn our student store into a hub of celebration.

By choosing their own rewards with the "bucks" they’ve earned, students practice financial literacy, goal-setting, and delayed gratification. Your donation provides the "fuel" for their progress. No good deed goes unnoticed, and your support helps us reward the kindness and effort my students show every single day! Thank you for being part of our team.
