My Students

I am a fourth grade regular education teacher with both learning support and gifted students. My students are highly motivated, tech-savvy students. They love every opportunity to incorporate technology in their education.

My students excel when given the opportunity to incorporate technology as part of the curriculum.

Students use technology to enrich and remediate with our reading curriculum. The curriculum has an online component which allows students to access all materials online. They use this component numerous times throughout the school year.

My Project

The 4 iPads will help enhance student learning by allowing them to complete online projects, research, and make learning fun! The students will be able to have technology readily available at all times to complete these projects.

Students in my class will also be able to access the online component of our reading program which includes extra practice with reading stories, spelling and vocabulary development, as well as grammar usage.

These components of our reading program are used daily as part of centers and small group time. This allows for students to work independently or in groups to develop necessary ELA skills.
