Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Ending the 2023-2024 school year, my elementary school will be hosting a graduation ceremony for all fifth-grade students. Our elementary school is a Title One school, meaning that low-income families make up more than forty percent of our enrollment. Our graduation is a moving-up ceremony for the fifth graders of our school to celebrate the completion of their last year of elementary school! This year, we are trying to raise money in order to supply the student's gifts for graduation rather than ask parents to contribute. By contributing to this project, you are helping us provide students with a token to congratulate them on completing a successful school year.
