Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This year I would like to set up my classroom in an entire different way. This summer I had the opportunity to visit several classroom outside my district and noticed many teachers using flexible seating options in their classrooms.

Therefore, this year I will be allowing my students to have a learning environment where they can make choices, feel comfortable, and be able to move while learning.

I have requested surf lap desk in a different project but eventually will need a rack to keep them organized. The surf lap rack will help me keep things organized.The rack is height appropriate where the students can reach the surf lap desk and use them freely as they choose.

Help me make this an incredible first year experience for my kindergarten students.
