Racing into FPV with DJI Goggles

My students need the FPV DJI Goggles to get the drone racing experience in a safe and exciting manner, and a case to protect them when not being used.

My Students

I have some students who love the world of computer science and all the cool and exciting cutting edge gadgets and gizmos. One of these current technologies are drones and first person views of flying. I want to continue to fuel their passion for computer science and all things related areas as they are great places for students to create hobbies and or eventual careers.

Allowing my students access to new and exciting technologies is a responsibility of mine as I help to foster their creativity, improve collaboration skills (with peers and teacher) and improve their problem solving skills.

I hope to provide opportunities to all of my students no matter what their financial background or home situation.

My Project

Trying to inspire students to learn more and expand what they have learned in the classroom is always one on of the goals of teaching. To help keep the students inspired and looking at new technologies, it would be great to provide them with the chance to use the FPV (First Person View) DJI Goggles and case in conjunction with a DJI Drone.

Through the FPV Googles students will be able to see exactly what it like to be a drone racer and have a birds eye view from the drone.

If students are really interested in this new technology they may even begin to design, build and program their own drones to compete in races. This is a growing industry and allowing our students to access the technology could spark future hobbies or even careers.
