We have been on a push to get our struggling readers to proficiency all year long.
Will you help 400 below level readers get recognized for gaining proficiency and meeting their reading goals?
Help us buy rewards and mail them to our virtual students across the state of Washington!! We know that students are motivated to continue engaging in difficult tasks when they are rewarded for their work in a meaningful way!
We have both donated (free food certificates, donated books and book related rewards) and prizes identified here items that are in high demand by our students (and easily mailable!) to send to our focus group of 400 students that are reading below grade level. These rewards will help motivate them to continue to engage in the recommended reading activities to grow their skills to grade level by the end of the year. The envelopes and postage are critical since we have to mail all rewards to students around the state, since we are a public virtual alternative school and our students are all over the state.
