My Students

In our class students are always asking who, what, and when is lunch? Preschool and kindergarten are very fundamental years of development. Our classroom ages range from three to five years old, with a lot of personality in-between. We love to learn, run, and put Band-Aids on. Our students enjoy finding challenging work and helping others succeed.

In our room, you may find us reading books, building towers, spelling words with a movable alphabet, feeding rabbits, painting, washing tables or even taking a quiet moment in our peace corner.

The children in our room lead the way through discovery and conversation. As the teachers in this room, it is our job to help guide their discoveries.

My Project

Our classroom has two female rabbits Jinx’s and Grace. They love to hop around our room and rest near our friends while they work. The money that is being raised is for additional supplies to take care of these classroom members. We also are asking for food, hay and chewing toys all which are needed for healthy and happy rabbits. We are also asking for two leashes so that students can walk the rabbits up and down the halls to get both rabbit exercise and student breaks.

These animals bring a sense of routine, comfort and experience that otherwise my students may never have the opportunity.

We learn daily how to take care of the pets, making sure our pets are healthy and how to handle our pets. This year we have many different components for the students such as jobs, graphic organizers, art projects and even songs about different kinds of pets.

The children love our rabbits and the sense of comfort, familiarity and responsibility they bring each day. Please help to donate so that we can keep our friends happy and healthy in our busy classroom.
