Despite so many hardships, my students are eager to learn and do their best. They want to be in school because they want to learn all they can so they can be successful one day.
They are growing and learning in the same small, tight knit, school community that inspired me to be a teacher.
They are dreamers, thinkers, talkers, and questioners. They are mini inspirations to themselves and others around them, even if they don't know it yet. They are budding ambassadors, world travelers, scientists, entrepreneurs, teachers... They are our future and I want to give them a great start to their long successful career.
My Project
The classroom is a noisy place on any day with the exchanging of ideas between teacher and student. The headphones will help keep the noise level at a minimum while keeping learning at a maximum. Having headphones in the classroom means enormous possibilities to enhance learning and focus. In today's classroom, there are often more than a few iPads. It can be noisy and distracting to students to listen to audio speakers when there are multiple iPads in the classroom. Headphones help the student focus on their assignments and not another student's assignment. Headphones will be the perfect accessories to my lesson plans. They will create quieter classrooms for better learning, and they help students focus.
By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.
My students will be able to simply focus on the academic material at hand, and not the distractions around them. Plus in this technology literate world, any interaction with updated technology will increase their literacy as well as their desire to learn and use the new technology!
