This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Learning how to take tests is an important skill learned and practiced during 2nd grade. It can be especially challenging when you’re learning a new language. In my dual immersion class, during this time students learn the importance of privacy and independence during test taking.
My students need something more sturdy and useful to replace the privacy folders we are currently using that are old, written on, and torn up.
These new privacy folders are made out of cardboard and will be much more helpful during test taking. We can use these privacy folders for every subject all year long, especially math and ELA tests. These new privacy folders and storage rack will help teach my students how to take tests quietly and to help them not peek at peers’ tests.
