My Project
In the often chaotic and distracting environment of a busy classroom, AP English Literature students can struggle to find the mental space needed to process complex material. This proposal seeks funding for headphones, which will enable students to listen to brief, focused College Board videos in a calm, individualized environment. By eliminating background noise and promoting a peaceful atmosphere, these headphones will help students engage more deeply with the material, enhance their comprehension, and ultimately improve their performance on the AP Exam.
AP English Literature students are required to absorb large amounts of complex information in a short time, and they often struggle to concentrate due to the distractions of a crowded classroom.
While College Board offers valuable video resources that can clarify key concepts and provide valuable exam strategies, students often find it difficult to fully engage with these videos in a noisy or busy environment. A calm, focused space is essential for deep learning, and the absence of such a space may hinder students from performing their best on the AP Exam.
This proposal seeks to create a calming and focused learning space for AP English Literature students by providing them with high-quality headphones. These headphones will allow students to listen to College Board videos in a distraction-free environment, enhancing their ability to absorb key information and refine their literary analysis skills.
