I believe a book exists for everyone. It is my role to help students find that perfect book that speaks to them. Each day we read, reflect and think about ourselves and our place in this big crazy world.
I am always searching for the best choices to help foster a lifelong love of reading and thinking.
To spark conversations and engage my students, they need books that inspire them.
I know what it's like to find a character who feels like they are speaking directly to you. I hope to give this gift to my students as well. Please consider supporting a diverse reading environment that, in turn, creates enthusiasm for reading!
This project is for books that will support our mindfulness class in a secular way while giving them a non-threatening introduction to where much of mindfulness stems. Specifically, this project supports out neurocience unit and helps us learn about our brains.
