My Project
For this project, I am asking for lab supplies to round out our last units for the final quarter of the school year. I have requested a specific number of flavored Jelly Beans so students can have a hands on, engaging and delicious time using dichotomous keys to finish up our Classification Unit. For our final unit on Infectious Agents, I am asking for prepoured agar plates to engage my curious students in scientific inquiry and enhance their learning experience. Students will use the Prepoured agar plates to test bacteria as classroom scientists.
The goal of these activities is to engage my students in scientific thinking by providing them with hands-on experience in using dichotomous keys and in another lab learning about collection techniques and growing bacteria.
