Quality Remote Teaching Visuals Make Learning Effective
Help me give my students updated resources that match their levels. I like to print and display sound cards, sight words and other resources and need these resources in order to keep these resources current.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students this year are in-person as well as remote. As a SETSS and RTI provider, I pull up to 6 students in small groups and work on reading using a program based on Orton Gillingham methologies. My students are on a variety of levels. Even within the same group, they may vary in levels in both their ability to decode and encode.
In spite of learning challenges, technology learning curves and the occasional noisy environment, they all strive to do their best and overcome their difficulties.
They are good humored, willing to learn from each other and open to learning from their mistakes.
We all do our best, each and every session and fingers crossed, will all be together in person come September to continue our learning.
My Project
Visuals make learning more multi-sensory and effective. I frequently need to print sound cards and sight words that match the students' constantly moving levels. I am currently working remotely, therefore this is even more important than before. Please consider funding this project and helping me to help my students!
I use an Orton-Gillingham based phonics program which requires that students drill sound cards and sight word cards daily.
Visuals are so much more effective when they are colorful and high quality. I change my sight word cards frequently as the children learn more and more words. Their sound cards which also change as we make progress, are so much more effective when they are colorful. I like to print them on cardstock so that they are not floppy and like to laminate them for durability.
