Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am organizing a summer reading program for my school! At the end of this school year, we will have a big summer reading kick-off event! Thanks to generous donations from friends and family to a different project I submitted on here, all students will receive a book bag and 10-20 books for their summer reading at this event. Parents will also be trained on tips and tricks for supporting reading at home. Students will keep track of their reading over the summer, and can earn prizes for every 10 books that they read!

Students will be motivated to read over the summer, and can look forward to receiving interesting and educational prizes upon returning to school in the fall.

Your donations will help my purchase Student Incentives Dog Tags Necklaces, Fun Pencils, Clip Bookmarks, Scratch and Sniff Bookmarks and other quality prizes that the students will be excited to learn.

Reading over the summer is critical for preventing learning loss. Please help us keep our students on track! Thank you!
