Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have a class of 18 awesome kindergarten students. This will be my 2nd year at this school (EF) and I am loving it!.

I love teaching lower grades because it is during this age when children began to explore and be curious about their environment.

Developmental kindergarten is such an exciting group of mixed interests, abilities, and goals. Some of my students will be learning to read, write, and count, while some of their classmates are learning to imitate sounds or hold a paintbrush.

In this class, we build a community around what we have in common and our shared experiences.

My Project

My students will use the headphones while using iPads. They are learning letters/letter sounds, math and reading. Many time my students have a hard time focusing on their iPads assignments and will not be able to master the skills that are needed to be succeful in kindergarten.

Headphones are very important.

because they help students focus better and block out other distracting noise. Each one of my students will need their personal headphones to avoid sharing, spreading germs, and disturbing each other while they work.

My students will be able to keep the headphone to the end of the year.
