This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are currently using a set of headphones that I have had for over seven years. The headphones we have now have been well loved and well used. Most of them have peeling ear covers, and some of them have shorts in the wire causing them not to work.

I am requesting a new class set of headphones and a headphone storage organizer for my students to use with various computer programs so that they can be engaged in learning.

They use their headphones on a daily basis to listen to electronic books, to answer comprehension questions, to listen to audio books, to participate in district online testing, and much more in order to help them to become proficient within the 4th grade Common Core Standards.
