Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We are living in a digital age. My students are digital natives. In class, we strive to maintain a balance between working with physical materials and online. My 5th graders are able to navigate through workbooks, chapter books, art materials and online research, individualized computer instruction, and getting creative on Canva.
Getting the right tools into students' hands makes all the difference!
These Chromebooks will allow them to access the resources they need to be successful 21st-century learners. They can research Cesar Chavez, the Causes of the Revolutionary War, and how the Electoral College functions. They can use individualized practice platforms to bolster their skills in critical areas of Math and English Language Arts. They can use Canva and Google Slides to make present their ideas, research, and creativity!
