Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students come from a low-income community. Over 90% of students qualify for free or reduced-price lunch. They are enthusiastic and eager to learn and explore a variety subject matter. The projects will help provide different opportunities and experiences for low-income students.

My Project

Quality art supplies is essential for developing strong artistic skill and creative voice. The supplies in this project will help my higher level art students like Drawing III Honor, AP studio Drawing and 2D, explore and master techniques while simultaneously exploring and discovering their creative artist voice.

Quality art supplies will enhance student skill development of drawing and painting to exhibit creativity.

Students will create pieces for their AP and personal portfolios, competitions, and exhibitions. They will embark in the creative process with topics that they relate to and carry their artist message.
