This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are the best students in the whole world. Do you know why? Because they are the smartest, most capable, most resilient students I have ever known. They show up every day and teach me something new and they are always ready to learn.

They work hard when they feel overwhelmed or things get difficult based on their learning differences.

We try our best to learn that technology is more than just an entertainment-based media, and that it can be enriching in their learning while they are having fun!

My Project

The student support team often communicates with other agencies and their parents to help support student learning. This means forwarding and printing sensitive information about student disability, address, and sometimes even social security information needed. These materials and paperwork must be disposed of properly and not just put in the trash or recycling. It's important that we are protecting student information whenever it leaves the school building through a shredder!

We also make a lot of amazing materials that we want to stay intact all year long!

This requires us to contribute to our beautiful spaces and preserve amazing student work. A laminating machine would definitely help!
