My Students
My kindergarten students love puzzles! However, most of our puzzles are missing a piece or two. I choose a set of transportation puzzles because my students love to play with cars, trucks and anything else with wheels! These puzzles would be in their interest range and enhance fine motor skills.
My students are from a rural area.
For most of my students, school is their first venture out into the real world away from home. I try to incorporate as many diverse activities as possible in my classroom, to build on their existing knowledge of the world.
My Project
Our community is a small town. The experiences that my students have are very limited. I would like for my students to encounter many new learning experiences through active play. By challenging my students with new and exciting activities and materials, they are realizing that the world is a bigger place than our rural small town.
This request of a few new puzzles may not seem like much, but my students are excited about anything new that they have not experienced at home.
