My kindergartners are creating life-long friendships. They are learning to collaborate, build social skills, problem-solve, and develop creativity and discovering who they are as individuals. They are eager to explore the world around them through purposeful play.
The students in my classroom come from a rural community with diverse backgrounds, cultures, and socioeconomic statuses.
Many students are learning English for the first time and rely on school programs for food and clothing.
While students may enter school with limited experiences, when these young learners step into the classroom, I believe they each have unlimited potential and deserve, rich, hands-on learning experiences to help shape their future!
My Project
My students will strengthen problem solving skills and build perserverence with this enaging Animals Close Up Puzzle Set and puzzle rack. From a colorful tree frog to a beautiful blue butterfly, these puzzles feature real-life photos of 10 amazing animals! Children get an up-close look at each animal as they fit big, raised pieces into the sturdy hardwood boards. Plus, each puzzle has just 8-10 pieces, so they’re easy to put together.
These puzzles will encourage students to develop hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills and shape recognition.
Students will work indepently and in partners as they examine and discuss the atributes of each animal
