Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

This project aims to enhance critical thinking skills by providing students with engaging puzzles and activities. I love my students' curiosity and eagerness to learn, and I believe these resources will further ignite their passion for problem-solving. The specific items requested, such as various types of puzzles and manipulatives, will provide diverse opportunities for students to practice critical thinking in different contexts. By working through puzzles collaboratively, students will learn to analyze information, think creatively, and develop effective problem-solving strategies.

My goal for this project is to foster a classroom environment where students feel empowered to tackle complex problems with confidence.

I want to cultivate a growth mindset and instill in my students the belief that they can overcome challenges through perseverance and critical thinking. Each resource selected is carefully chosen to support this goal and provide students with the tools they need to succeed.

What makes my students special is their diverse backgrounds, unique perspectives, and unwavering enthusiasm for learning. They come from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, bringing a richness of experiences to our classroom. I am constantly inspired by their resilience, curiosity, and kindness towards one another. With the right resources and support, I am confident that they will continue to excel and reach their full potential as critical thinkers and problem solvers.
