My Project
Brain teasers and puzzle equipment will help activate my students’ minds but are outside the curriculum. They are great starting pieces to help students get their brains into puzzle and shapes mode which leads to understanding math, shapes, and spatial reasoning. The ability to manipulate these puzzles and look at them from different angles also applies to math and even editing language arts homework. The final ah-ha moment when they complete the puzzle feeds the intrinsic motivation for keeping with something until it’s complete, which our students need so much these days.
