This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our school needs more color in the classroom. As much as we would love to paint it, we can only add color by purchasing colorful rugs and furniture. Students love to use color on the walls of their classroom. If we receive your donation, it will help give students twistable crayons so they can draw pictures centered around what we are learning.
The bookshelves we are requesting will help us organize art supplies and the awesome puzzles.
We are requesting new puzzles that will be used in the classroom as they correlate to our language arts units. Puzzles help students work together, achieve a goal of completion and strategize how to complete it more than once. Using the puzzles helps our students when we have inclement weather due to fires or rain. Teachers are always trying to challenge students and puzzles helps foster critical thinking without technology.
This donation will help bring color to the classroom with beautiful furniture, twistable crayons so students can express what they are learning through art and the help store the puzzles that will also help students work together. With the help of your donation you can help make our kindergarten classroom more like a colorful and warm classroom.
