Puzzles for the K-6 Library!

My Project

I am the K-6 librarian in a small rural school in Arkansas. We have a large population of students who speak English as a second language and a large population of students who come from low income families. The library is a place for students to learn and grow and develop. I want to offer my students engaging library programming in addition to books they love! One thing I have started recently is a puzzle table for students to use during out check out time. This has been a big hit and it's wonderful for their growing brains to problem solve and work together to solve a puzzle!

I only have 1 puzzle right now for our new puzzle center in the library, so this project would allow me to add several more to encourage them to be excited about exercising their brains and working with others!

These are skills that will help my students be more successful not just in school, but in life!
