Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I would love to challenge my students with puzzles that teach the sciences, alphabet, colors, and shapes. I will be making another grade change next year and will need new activities that stimulate their brains, promote friendships, and help my little ones with their fine motor development.
Puzzles and magnetic mazes help children with problem solving skills, teamwork, and critical thinking, as well as develop their fine motor skills and coordination.
My children will learn matching skills, colors, shapes, and letters. The solar system and map of the United States of America will help them learn about science and social studies. These puzzles provide exposure to many subjects and information that they will need to be successful in school and life.
I plan to have my children work together at tables and at the carpet to solve these puzzles. It is a great way to develop leadership skills while learning how to work with others.
