My Project
Puzzles and reading are a great way for students to relax because they provide a mental break while still engaging the mind in a fun and productive way.
Solving puzzles can be a calming and meditative activity, allowing students to focus their attention on a single task and temporarily step away from the pressures of their academic responsibilities.
As they work on puzzles, students enter a state of flow, where they become absorbed in the challenge and lose track of time. This mental focus can be soothing and reduce stress. Puzzles also offer a sense of accomplishment as students solve them, which can boost confidence and provide a positive distraction from other concerns. Additionally, puzzles promote problem-solving skills and critical thinking, helping students develop cognitive abilities in an enjoyable manner. The tangible progress students make as they piece together a puzzle can be satisfying and rewarding, further enhancing their sense of relaxation. Books are also a great way for students to unwind and relax after they have finished their work. The students give me a list of books they want me to get and I put them in the grant.
