This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My kindergarten students have a curiosity about places around the world! They love using our interactive board to look at maps, watch videos, and read about different habitats, countries, and continents. They have been specifically interested in the seven continents lately! However, our classroom needs more hands on materials we can use to explore geography further!

I want to add continent puzzles to our geography center so my students can learn more about the seven continents.

The atlas and flashcards will help them develop background knowledge about our seven continents.
