I teach a diverse and incredible class of motivated general education students and English Language Learners. My children come from loving families; many of them are low income.
My classroom includes children with learning disabilities, children whose families are experiencing poverty, children with limited English proficiency, and children from a wide range of backgrounds.
Having the opportunity to attend a high quality early education program enables these children to explore new ideas and develop lifelong habits for learning.
There is nothing sadder than a missing puzzle piece... or two... Unfortunately, the puzzles in my classroom have seen many many years of use and are falling apart. The budget in our urban district does not allow for replacement of materials such as puzzles, so we're left with taped/glued puzzles and other puzzles in generally poor condition. I've found a selection of puzzles that align with our six units of study: Family, Friends, Weather, Shadows and Reflections, and Things that Grow. My students would be beyond thrilled to receive new puzzles and your donation goes a long way in making sure that students in an urban district receive the same materials as their counterparts in wealthier districts. Thank you for your donation!
