Help me give my students the ability to expand their greenhouse crops while learning how to be environmentally friendly by adding a solar powered watering system.

My Project

I want to connect our environment friendly concepts to the classroom. Having solar power in our greenhouse is a great way to show the students how effective solar energy can be in urban gardening. The students will gain soft skills such as project planning and construction while they build the new irrigation systems. The system will then help them nurture their agricultural abilities in a way that can benefit them in their own home. Having the ability to increase our greenhouse crops will give them the ability to grow food they can take home and other plants they can sell as fundraisers in order to learn proper business management practices.
