This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I am a Special Education Teacher servicing students with various needs in grades six and seven. Many of my students have lower achievement scores in language arts and have difficulties comprehending what they read. It is my goal to provide strategies to help them enhance comprehension levels and raise their test scores.
My Project
I am a Resource teacher who works with both special education and general education students. Many of my special education students are driven and motivated to develop more vital skills in reading and math using technology. They are eager to take on new challenges in meeting their goals in an inclusion setting. Furthermore, all students benefit from the resources available in an inclusion setting. For example, we will create movies with sound to go with our books and learn concepts using iMovie and YouTube.
My students will benefit significantly by discovering new ways of learning using this MacBook Air.
We want to level up our creativity and enjoy the different options to present what we have learned. We can watch various classes and videos as small groups to incorporate Apple Technology into our classroom.
By donating to our project, you will not only ignite students' imagination and increase student engagement, but you will also ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.
