Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Our students have begun getting excited about jumbo puzzles after we had a family day where they worked on completing puzzles with a family member at school. So now we would love to add more puzzles to our class collection so our students can synthesize their hand-eye coordination while building their concentration time on task and collaboration skills as they together to put the puzzles together. Having a variety of puzzles with different themes like solar system and sea floor will help us use the puzzles to reinforce content retention. We also can create a puzzle station as a learning center for students who want to practice putting together multiple puzzles.
