My students are from a Title I school in the suburbs of Detroit. The Transitional Kindergarten program gives children from all cultures and various incomes an opportunity to learn and thrive within the district before going to kindergarten. My energetic TK students enter the classroom ready to learn, discover, and explore.
They love to read books, draw pictures, use online programs, build structures, and compare, sort, and pretend play throughout the day.
They light up as they proudly identify letters and discover sounds. They love to learn!
My class needs ink for our HP printer in the classroom. Many times, I need to make copies of worksheets and activities in a pinch. Having ink for the printer is handy when I just need 1 more copy of a worksheet because someone accidentally used more copies of a worksheet than they should, or more students needed to try it again.
Having ink for our classroom printer makes our classroom literacy and math centers more colorful, projects more interesting and at times saves the day when we need just one more copy.
I also use the printer to print out pictures of the students to include with their work and or art projects. The class loves to look at everyone's pictures!
