Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students love incentives and I want to be able to reward their great behavior. I want to give students blue smile tickets to reward them, in which they can trade them in for a trip to the treasure box.
I have a classroom calm down corner for students to express their feelings with various fidgets and would love for my students to be able to use the sensory bottles.
The bottles would give students a visual to focus on to be able to process how they feel. We would love to have the huge wall coloring poster so that when students need to de-stress they can color their way back to being relaxed and better focused.
I would love to have the classroom rules colorful alphabet canvas. This will be a very bright reminder of our class rules in a beautiful wall canvas. I would love to light up my classroom learning environment with LED lights. The classroom lights will be as bright as my students excitement for learning.
Our classroom would be more engaging with bulletin boards that inspire and posters that engage students. The white light accents, growth mindset posters, and bulletin board trim will turn our space into a happy place for my students.
The push pin with wooden clips will be used so that my students are able to display their class work. They will feel so accomplished having their work on the walls.
