This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are awesome! They are the reason I teach. I would like to let them read things that interest them, not just books that are assigned to them. I plan to use these books to foster their joy of reading and letting them lose themselves in a book.
Reading helps build students vocabulary, and supports comprehension and fluency.
I will be able to allow students to check out and borrow the books.. A lot of my students have limited access to the internet, and actually love reading physical book. I want them to be able to do that.
