My Students

My students are from a small town with working-class people, who value education as a way to get ahead in life. Many of them could be the first generation to go on to a post-secondary school. They all have dreams but so often those dreams get put on hold due to a lack of some basic items that will show them what is out there for them. I feel like it is my duty as a teacher to show each of them that there are careers out there that they would succeed at and enjoy but so many of them don't even know that those careers are out there.

My Project

The number of students in my classes is rising and the need for these two routers will help so much. Right now we have one and they use routers just about every day. There are many times a student needs to use the router and they end up waiting for 20-30 minutes.

With two more routers, the students will be able to keep working.

With students ranging from seventh grade to seniors in high school so many of them just need to keep working when they are going on a project. So when they have to wait so long they lose the energy that they have for the project.
