My Project
One of my favorite parts about teaching social studies, history, and the continents is to help kids really understand where we are in relation to each other in the world. My old globe of over 25 years began falling apart and I knew I wanted a new one. Then the Eaton Canyon fires broke out and it had to be gotten rid of due to toxic fumes. I realized DonorsChoose.org could be a great opportunity to provide my students with a new, accurate, and clean globe. The two I have picked out here would provide hands-on learning for the kids and give them a much better perspective of the earth they live on.
