My Project
My students were excited about reading when they began fourth grade. Surprisingly, as the year passed and they read lots of books, the spark they once had for reading began to fizzle because they needed new books. As we approach the end of the school year, it is so important that the spark is relit and they find new books they can enjoy reading. These books will help set the stage for summer reading and avoid the scary, “summer slump.” Help me get new and exciting books into their hands to remind them how good it feels to find and read a great book!
