My Project
I have been working on helping kids learn to read by pulling small groups. It has been extremely successful and the kids know how to read. Now, our goal is to make them read faster and the research shows the more one read, the more fluent they became. Practice makes progress.
In order to read more, the students need to have books they enjoy more than their phones. Graphics novels are a huge hit with our students. They have already borrowed all the books and are asking for me to get more. I know these books will be a huge success with the students and will be borrowed and loved as soon as they arrive.
